Job Title: Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Pay Rate: Teacher Main Scale 1–6 (£32,916 – £45,352 per annum) + SEN Allowance (£2,787)
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
Hours: Full Time (FTE 1.0), Fixed Term – Maternity Cover
Start Date: 1st January 2026

 

Smart Education is currently recruiting for a Class Teacher (Maternity Cover) in the Stratford-upon-Avon area. Job Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with pupils with complex ASD and/or non-verbal needs (desirable)
• Strong understanding of SEND and inclusive classroom practice
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to maintaining high expectations and fostering positive relationships with pupils and families

 

Role Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons that meet the complex learning and personal needs of pupils
• Provide a high-quality educational experience for all learners
• Maintain and promote the positive ethos and core values of the setting
• Work collaboratively with staff, families, and external professionals to support pupil progress
• Contribute to the wider school community through teamwork and professional engagement
